Forged curls — the most common and versatile element of artistic forging. It is from curls that the pattern of the section of the gate, fence, fence or railing is formed, combining them with each other and with others forged elements. Dimensions and material

Forged curls in the catalog are made of:
strips 10×5 and 12×6 mm — light curls for medium-weight fences and gates;
square 10×10 and 12×12 mm — more massive, for large and heavy structures;
part is from a pipe 20x20 mm and with decorative embossing.

The sizes are from 100×65 to 500×175 mm, which allows you to choose a curl for any step of filling the section.

How to choose forged curls

Cross-section — under the metal of the section: for light gates, curls are taken from a strip of 10×5 / 12×6 mm, for massive ones - from a square of 10×10 / 12×12 mm, so that the elements look proportional and are welded equally.
The size is under the filling step: large curls fill the area faster, small curls give a denser pattern.
Decor: Embossed curls look more expensive and go well with rosettes and leaves.

Installation and decoration

Forged curls are attached by welding to the frame of the section. Before painting, process them primer, then - metal paint or patina for corrosion protection and a finished look.
