Forged rack (balustrade) is a separate vertical decorative element from which craftsmen and manufacturers independently collect railings, balcony fences, fences and gates. This is not a finished product, but detail for forging: it is welded between supports along with other forged elements — curls, peaks, rosettes — forming its own section of the fence. Rack, baluster, pillar — not to be confused
Rack = baluster — detail of section filling. Railing post — a supporting part that holds the structure at the corners. A fence usually requires both parts: pillars on the edges, racks between them.
