What is a decorative forged element

Decorative element is a ready-made decorative insert (detail) wrought metal: a piece of ornament composed of a band or square with an embossment, which the craftsman welds into his design. This is not a finished product, but element for decoration — it is used to fill or accentuate a section of a gate, fence, fence or facade. The advantage is that the complex pattern is already assembled — there is no need to bend and weld each curl separately.

Where decorative elements are used

for gates and wickets — central or filling inserts;

for fences and fences — rhythmic ornament of sections;

for the facade — overhead decorative elements on the wall, balcony, visor;

for railings and stairs — inserts between racks;

for the interior — screens, partitions, decor.

The profile is for the rest: so that the decor harmonizes with the curls of the section (stripe to strip, square to square);
