What is the masking element

Masking element (it is also called heel, cup or camouflage pad) is a decorative part that is put on a bar or pole through a hole and hides a weld, anchor or joint at the base Simply put, it's a neat "skirt" that hides an unsightly joint and makes a gate, fence or railing complete. This is not a product, but element of decoration and masking.

What camouflage elements hide

• weld at the point of connection of the bar with the base or frame;

• anchor fastening pillar to the floor, concrete or wall;

• rack/balustrade joint with the base of the stairs and balcony;

• bolts and fasteners column flange.

How to choose a masking element

The hole (or fit) must match the cross-section of your rod or post — for example, for a square of 40x40 mm, take a heel "for 40x40". Choose the size of the outer part according to how large a place you need to cover. If it is not necessary to mask, but to close the end of the pipe, see stubs.
